SF Bear/Otter Contest Flag Raising and Welcome Reception

Join us at the legendary SF Eagle on Thursday, August 13, for our annual SF Bear Weekend Flag-Raising and Welcome. We'll raise the Bear Pride Flag over the Eagle's back patio, which will serve as our home base for most of this weekend's activities.
We'll also have an "event blessing" from one of the fabulous Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and a few words from event producer Cody Elkin.
It's a great way to ease into Bear Weekend, catch up with some old friends and maybe make a few new ones!

SF Bear/Otter Contest Meet and Greet

The Powerhouse Bar, 1347 Folsom Street, San Francisco
How will you know who to root for if you don't get to know the contestants?
Our annual "Meet and Greet" event gives you an opportunity to meet this year's group of bears and otters who will be completing for titles the following day. The POWERHOUSE bar will once again host this event, which is also a fundraiser for this year's beneficiary.
Our bears and otters will be selling raffle tickets at this event, and our judges will be watching to see how they interact with you, the public.

Now in the fourth year under its new producers, the contest has become so successful that we've added a complimentary title: the Mr. San Francisco Otter Contest.

SF Bear/Otter Contest Victory Beer Bust
Sunday, August 16, 2026, 3-7 pm
SF Eagle, 398 12th St, San Francisco
San Francisco Bear Weekend concludes with a furtastic Beer Bust at the historic SF Eagle. Join the contestants, judges, staff and producers of this year's events for a four-hour party complete with cold beer (or soft drinks), homemade food, great music and just the right number of sweaty critters to guarantee body contact as you move through the crowd. All this for $20 - with the proceeds going to the North Bay Bear Collective.

ACLC Board Meeting
ACLC's Executive Board will meet on Tuesday, September 1st at 7:00 pm. Meetings are open to all Club members and the general public.
ACLC's Monthly Zoom Get-together
Join us for our monthly get-together on Tuesday, August 18th at 7pm
CHARITY
Our most important goal: assist service providers and agencies not receiving large government or corporate grants. We assist those most in need.
EVENTS
Our events raise funds for charity and sponsor contest participation in regional and national organizations to further promote our club. All of it ends up helping people.
GIFTS & SPONSORSHIPS
We work with sponsors, non-profit organizations and individuals to get funds where they are needed most. Donate a little, donate a lot - every bit helps.
