Standing Committtees

All members are encouraged to join one or more of the many special and standing committees that make ACLC a success.  To join any committee, ask any member of the Board of Directors, who will refer you to the current Chair for the committee in question.

Events:

The Events Committee is responsible for planning and executing fundraising events throughout the year. Current titleholders are required to serve on this committee, since their title contracts require the production of fundraising events during their title year. Regular members are also part of this committee.

Contest:

The Contest Committee is responsible for planning and executing ACLC’s annual title contest. Current titleholders are required to serve on this committee. Regular members are also part of this committee.

By-Laws:

The By-Laws committee is responsible for the review, updating, and/or creation of policies and revisions to ACLC’s By-Laws.  This committee is formed of regular members and the current Sergeant at Arms.

Membership and Logo:

The Membership and Logo Committee processes and archives membership applications, assists the Board of Directors in recruiting new members, and advises the Board on the appropriate format and usage of the Club’s name and logo. This committee is formed of regular members and at least one current Board member.

 

Newsletter and Public Relations

The Newsletter Committee produces ACLC’s newsletter, and coordinates public relations efforts for the Board of Directors. This committee is formed of regular members and at least one current Board member.

Education:

The Education Committee is required to produce at least one public educational event each quarter, to ensure that ACLC meets its legal requirements as an educational/charitable nonprofit. This committee is formed of regular members and at least one current Board member.
